The theme for this space takes its color and style from the history of the building, which was originally a flour mill on the river, then Whitney Hotel, before being converted to the loft residences you see today.
This tone on tone large damask wallcovering is a subtle backdrop to the strong turquoise color on this French chest that flanks the walls of the entrance hall.
Keeping with our "Wheat and Water" theme that represents the history of this Historic building, we designed the 15ft round area rug with a wheat grain pattern that flows to the middle of the rug.
The "squiggly" artwork and "smile" bench as I call them, are great accents to the long hallway.
To keep the space free of area rugs so that accessibility for all would not be limiting, we designed tile rugs. Directly above we wallpapered the ceiling coffers with a mitered stripe wallcovering.
